shareHungarian Public Service Media Organization (MTVA) and Hungarian Heritage House announce the 3rd PÁVA folk dance and music talent search program series - this time the spotlight is on CHILDREN!
Applications to enter the competition may be submitted until February 15, 2015 at www.hagyomanyokhaza.hu and http://www.folszallottapava.hu. Productions with children between the ages of 6 and 14 performing authentic Hungarian folk music, folk dance and folk song related to local traditions from any Hungarian region and any ethnic group in Hungary. Regional preliminary rounds are to be held in spring 2015. Performers in 48 selected productions will participate in summer preparation camps. Summary programs will be broadcast on Duna TV in the fall. Final rounds of the contest are planned for November and December.
The PÁVA children's talent competition for folk music and folk dance awaits applicants including singing groups, bands, folk dance ensembles, solo dancers or dance couples.
