Buda Folk Band: New release amongst the best

Buda Folk Band's new record is listed best Hungarian album in January! 

Buda Folk Band presented the material for their third record at WOMEX 2015 in Budapest. In recent years they find themselves amongst international world music elite with their previous top listed recordings and festival appearances. Their new recording entitled "Saját gyujtés" (Own collection) -  a Fonó release - is number thirteen on the World Music Charts for January 2016. 50 music and radio experts from 24 countries place their votes for this list which is posted on their website on the 1st of each month - see: www.wmce.de.  Buda Folk Band's new recording is the only Hungarian recording on the list this month.

Buda Folk Band performs in Budapest on February 6th at the Akvárium (with Kerekes Band) and on February 12th at the Liszt Academy Of Music.
